Las Vegas has a New Professional Sports Team!

The entertainment capital of the world is quickly becoming a destination for professional teams as well. In case you missed it, Las Vegas is now home to its own National Lacrosse League team: the Las Vegas Desert Dogs! Although the season started in December of 2022, there is still plenty of time left to catch a home game during their inaugural season. With their first franchise victory under their belts after defeating the Vancouver Warriors 15-14 on January 20th. You can read all about the late game comeback and victory here. There are 6 home games left on the Desert Dogs schedule and they are as follows:


  • Saturday, February 4th against the Colorado Mammoth
  • Friday, February 24th against the Calgary Roughnecks
  • Saturday, March 11th against the Vancouver Warriors
  • Saturday, March 25th against the Rochester Nighthawks
  • Saturday, April 8th against the San Diego Seals
  • Saturday, April 29th against the Saskatchewan Rush


You can watch the Desert Dogs play at Michelob Ultra Arena inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. Tickets start at $45, and going to a game is a great way to spend an evening out. All ticketing is provided via AXS and you can purchase either through the Las Vegas Desert Dogs website here or by visiting the single-game ticketing website here. If you want to watch the games, but don't want to go out, almost all of the Desert Dogs' games are televised on myLVTV (Channel 33).
